My teacher taught me to just use the calculator with finding the x intercept. Just press “set up” and “3: table”. Type in the equation for f(x) using alpha ‘X’ and then press enter. Press enter again when it asks for g(x) start at around -8 and end at 8. Enter when it asks the Step. Then the y values that are 0 are your x-intercepts. Not sure if it works for everything, but saves a lot of time with the factorising. 🤷‍♀️

Hey sir I think the best way to find the factor is by using the calculator
Go to the calculator press mode, then no 3, then your equation press, then after filling in the info on the calculator you will be given the table of y & x values then you check in the y values when the y is = o then you get the value of x, & if the value of x is = -2, obviously when it gets to the equation it will change sign & be = 2

Hello sir, for the functions... Can you tell the Learners to buy the silver or the white calculator(Casio f×-991ZA) cause it does all the work for you, which saves time... You just need to press :

Step 1 : mode(1)
Step 2 : EQN (5)

Step 3 : press 3 if it's that regular function.... And press 4 if it's a cubic function

Step 4 : type in a, b, c values if it's a regular function

Or

Type a, b, c, d values if it's a cubic function

Step 5 : open brackets and white the factors inside, but change the signs... So if they say 5... You say (×-5)

It gives you all the factors

Then (×-5) will be × =5
