Interesting to me how the Yamaha on first listen is powerful, strong, clear, the Feurich is soft, muted, even muffled. But over time, I can see how the Yamaha could become overly bright, aggressive and fatiguing; where the Feurich starts to sound more balanced, relaxed, full sounding.

I wonder if it is easier to mellow a bright piano or to brighten a softer sounding piano? I know Feurich have modern features like quieter squeak free wooden pedal mechanisms, more angled bass strings for deeper, more sustained bass notes. However Yamaha is a well known brand and holds its value well when it comes to resale, lots of things to consider.

Exactly the kind of comparison video I was hoping for, short snippets, recorded with the same acoustic, same mics, same excerpts played back to back. Thank you, more of these please! 😁👍
