The Samsung Galaxy S21 just came out, so let's see how it holds up against the Samsung Galaxy S9!

I'm still using the s9 in 2021 and I still love it. After looking at comparing these 2 devices side by side, I'm glad to stick with my s9. Btw that's rubbish about the s9 having a software problem. I can still update mine to the latest software android 10. Watching the speed test in comparison, I don't see much difference. The s9 looks much nicer with the glass back in comparison. Samsung s9 is an awesome phone still in 2021.

I bought my S9 during 2018 Christmas sales and it's still amazing to this day with some lags from ram management and battery issues. Im just gonna replace the battery and keep this phone for 2 more years 😁😁

I don't think the S21 feels "watered down" compared to premium on the back like my old S9, it's just matte.

to me the s10 is the most well rounded phone samsung have ever done, I've had it since release and I've no plans to update any time soon, it's just so good

s9 user here. I still like the overall performance of this phone but my only issue is that the battery overheats. I hate it. 😭

The S9 has more of a premium fit and finish too, aside from the glass .

as someone who used the s9 and just upgraded, I highly recommend the upgrade, the camera system is phenomenally better, battery life is better, display may be 1080p but its calibrated better cause its a new amoled panel and oh my days that 120hz is absolutely amazing
and tbh i was never a fun of the glass back on the s9 cause it was a fingerprint magnet and it could crack easily
was gonna put a case on it anyway but the matte finish on the s21 is a godsent plus the metal rails and that new cutout provides you with that aesthetic premium look
it's been 3 years, you could wait for the s22 but I don't know how samsung is gonna top this, impressive phone all round

Thanks for this review, still using my s9 and have had little issues. I was considering the s21, was iffy about lack of headphone jack (but honestly not a deal breaker for me, I have a lovely Bluetooth speaker) however.... the lack of sd card slot??? No way

Thank you so much for this video - I've been seeing Samsung's promotions for trading in my S9 for their S21 5G, and I'm really skeptical now. Even with a full value trade in, it's still a lot of money to shell out for not a lot of upgrades it sounds like. Plus on T-mobile's site, the number of 1-star reviews for the S21 is more than 5-star reviews. Most long-time S7, S8 and S9 users are saying what a downgrade the S21 is and that they keep experiencing dropped calls. Really starting to think I shouldn't trade in my S9...

I bought the galaxy s9 when it just came out. I have never been so satisfied with a phone but s9 was really the best phone ever. now i have problems with battery / camera / sound / speaker not working . so time for a new one. I'm looking for a replacement for the S9. definitely don't want to back down. so I bought the S21 tonight :D

My doubts still remains on the cameras. The S9 photos compared with the S21 photos are almost the same or there's a pretty good diference that would worth the S21 pricetag?

The software problem is easily solvable with custom ROMs. If you already have an S9, spending 600$ just to make your apps load 0.1-0.5s faster isn't worth it in my opinion.

i completely agree i think the s9 look and feels more premium, the s21 does look a bit cheap and very different to what a Samsung would do. If my s9 wasn't slowing down, i would never change it.

I've got the s9, and i feel no need to upgrade right now. I'll keep it at least another year and see where the battery life is.

I still have s9, I habe no complaints, best 0hone I've ever owned. And I didn't update on purpose, since updates on any phone are crap. Just never update and you'll be fine. Just go to developer mode and the phones faster too.
