This supercharged piece of German technology came in for a front brake change. Although this poor thing never got a decent clean, it now has new brakes! Here is how I did it.

Note that on most SLK brakes there is a wear sensor. You'll need to replace this if it's damaged and it fits into the inner top of the pad.

Useless info without torque numbers and size of spanner’s, also on R171 you might destroy ABS system without bleeding the brake system first and using force to compress the calliper drum to fit the new brake pads, please explain more fully ?
