The Blue Guitars: Theo Scharpach's Blue Vienna

Theo Scharpach was the only luthier selected by Scott Chinery not to be based in the US or Canada. The Austrian-born Dutch builder was included as a result of the strong recommendation of Steve Howe of the band Yes, one of Scott's favorite guitarists.

And we're grateful for that--this delicate, lovely guitar is utterly different from all the others, and is super-responsive, even to the lightest touch.
