I’ve been critical of Faalele for most of the season. He looked pretty good in this tape and I’m giving him a double on that screen. He took two guys out of the play.

What really makes Henry’s zone runs so strong, is that he presses the LOS before he cuts. This puts the ILB’s in a bind because it allows the OL double team to push the Dl into the ILB level, or come of late on the ILB. So if the ILB sits and reads, he has a 4 tech in his lap, if he hits the gap hard, one of the Ravens OL just come off the double and push him in the direction he is going. If Henry cuts early, it allows the ILB’s to break to the ball early and avoid getting stuck inside.

Hey coach i was thinking, is it possible that the game plan yesterday will be the game plan for the playoffs and they whipped it out because we had to have this game or we just got lucky that they FINALLY fed Henry and seemed to kinda stick to that game plan for the entire game? A part of me kinda feels like this is the plan all along but we didn’t want to show our hand too early in the season.

On that interception, it looks like Bateman was the first read and Lamar wanted to get him involved after only having one catch/TD at that point. And with slight pressure developing he threw it and before see that Bateman had pulled up on the route. Unlucky with Zay and Ricard wide open.

Sitting at home after the regular season again for the 3rd year.. I REALLY wish we could get LJ to carry out the illusion of the keep on these option plays regardless if designed to the RB or not. Kinda like Peyton Manning did his handoff the same way EVERY run and PA pass. His body language can give it away sometimes he’s not keeping it but I’m nit picking. GREAT WIN 🖤 💜 🖤💜🖤💜
