You've already seen us conduct an in-depth comparison between the Mahindra 3XO and the Tata Nexon diesel variants, where we explored their engines, interiors, features, ride quality, and handling. Now, we're back with a comparison test between the turbo-petrol variants of the Tata Nexon and the Mahindra 3XO.

In terms of power, the Mahindra 3XO is equipped with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 129 bhp and 230 Nm. Meanwhile, the Tata Nexon also has a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, but it generates 118 bhp and 170 Nm.

In this test, we drive both SUVs to determine which one offers better driving performance, ride comfort, and handling. But first, since we love the thrill of driving, we conducted a drag race to see which compact SUV is faster.

Engine clutch and gearbox that's where Mahindra destroys Nexon and no suger coating can hide it. Yes nexon has better design but thats that! For a car enthusiast engine comes first

Ive tested both cars and Nexon was my pick
Reasons: nexon is family oriented car overall better luggage carrying plus comfort, mileage is better in Nexon and 3xo is for those people who wants performance and regarding service centre both are lacking compare to japanese brands but still it depends from area to area

Nice one evo is my preference, THE ONLY REASON IS: 3X0 doesn't suits my taste in terms of looks on the other hand Nexon looks faar better(in terms of design)....Baki Mahindra is knows for there driving experience

Mahindra needs to fire the people who designed this car. It doesnt matter how great the car is if it looks like that. One look at that at the dealer showroom and I would walk out right away.

Looks, utility, and comfort Nexon. Definitely 3XO is a good car with a good engine and transmission; still overall a better choice Nexon.

Test drove both in manuals.The only downside of nexon for me was the driving dynamics. I mean what was i driving? Felt lika n i20 or an i10. The gearshift is less smooth and the car pickup is slow as shit. Had to go with the mahindra.
