I don't think UCS sets should be bigger than fig scale. Just really detailed and with the correct figs... That gunship has never been for me

Strongly disagree about the bad batch shuttle's color. I think adding some color and life to SW vehicles is always a good thing and we get way too many grey ships. The sand blue is super unique looking, and fairly accurate too. I mean, LEGO makes their snowspeeders white even though the actual ship is grey, but nobody ever complains about it. I do agree that the speeders shouldn't have been included though. The price could've been bumped down to 80 or 90 dollars without them.

Why would they add an episode 4 version of Luke? The box art clearly shows the set on Bespin which is not from episode 4. The set wouldn't even need to include a Luke anyways because the minifigures are based off of before the events of the betrayal at cloud city. You can see the Leia in her Hoth appearance rather than her cloud city appearance and both Han and Leia have the breathing mask for when they were in the space slug. In my opinion, the UCS Millennium Falcon is a perfect set.

The one small thing I dislike about clone wars sets is that the clones blaster bolts are red instead of blue

They could have included head on first order atst and make a playfeature where you blow the head up by yourself if you want

The at-st set should’ve been a full at-st but they should’ve had a feature where you could take the top off of the at-st to make it look like it does in the movie. That way you could decide to make it full or make it broken

Anakin’s Y-Wing minifigure selection is 100% completely accurate though, they’re not just throwing in random named characters

I think the sand blue on the Havoc Marauder is really good mainly because its good to get a star wars set that isn´t just: big gray ship

Ironically the sticker hallway is 1:1 accurate to the movie sets. The actual hallway scenes swere seperate sets, in the main rooms the hallways were matte paintings. Kinda like how the old Death Star playset had the sticker for the prison cells matte painting.
Another additional issue is that alot of pieces needed for stability would be in the way of hallways.

The Bad Butch shuttle heavily suffers from the fact lego phased out sandblue, itd easily fix the color.

I understand that some UCS sets can't be Minifigure scale (Death star, star destroyer executor) but I feel like most UCS sets should either be as close to Minifigure scale as possible or not at all, for instance the razor crest is a near perfect Minifigure scale ship but then something like the LAAT is so far from being Minifigure scale yet they still have the cockpit fit a figure

11:55 i dont get why in some ucs sets they put in like 1 or 2 figures. If its a ucs republic gunship there should be 2 pilots and atleast like 5 regular clones to fill it up

2:46 Its a display Model, not a play set. It shouldn't have even gotten an interior IMO, they couldve used the space for a more stable structure (The structure itself is already OK, I just feel as if the Landing Gear was very poorly designed as it wobbles a lot)

I don't get the gripe with not including Luke in the Falcon. At that point throw in the whole Episode 4 crew. It's clearly Episode 5 and 7 represented. Pretty good video, though 👍

More than the spider droid, my biggest dissapointment was Commander Cody, dude looks like a normal clone trooper, where is his jetpack? His visor with rangefinder? I wasnt expecting the antenna on his shoulder pad, but no jetpack and forgetable print? Ive havent seen enough people complaining about Cody, and that makes me sad.

I’m guessing the UCS falcon didn’t include Luke because he was never in the falcon in the sequels, and it looks like the mini figs of the OT are based off when they left hoth

0:51 I think the build is actually super inaccurate. If you look at pictures Sentinels online the engines aren’t raised above the haul, they’re level. Plus, the folding wings are supposed to have a bend in them and some cannons and the tip fin is inaccurately shaped.

I hate the fact that the UCS gunship doesn't have doors that close with the fuselage. it kinda just sticks out there. though there is a Clone Wars conversion mod on rebrickable with the double bay doors. honestly i like that gunship better. but that itches me bad so i didn't buy it

it will always be crazy to me that people will completely discard a Lego set because it doesn't have the right minifigures, its one of the cringiest things in the Lego community, oh no my Lego set that's supposed to be a build of something doesn't have the right minifigures, whomp whomp lil man that's not what the set is about and they're rarely the main focus, it's very toxic to see people bitch and cry about it
