Clicked because of the thumbnail, stayed because of the production quality. The algorithm got it right on this one, you put as much effort into the videomaking process as you do your blacksmithing pieces. Well done!

Came for the thumbnail, stayed for the sanding

It must take years and years to become proficient at blacksmithing. I just hope this art form never dies out.

A goddess blacksmith!

Incredible quality of film, blacksmith skills, audio and finally a poet.

Amazing. Metal + heat + hammer -- no hydraulics, presses, brakes; the way it was done WAY back when. Outstanding. Subscribed.

I was so happy to see the work, artistry, passion, and amazing skill that went into making this axe for me (I am the aforementioned shieldmaiden). 😊 I hope to be able to thank you in person one day!

I watch a lot of blacksmithing videos and rarely see such artistry done by swinging a hammer. Most just stick the metal in a press. Hats off to you.👍🏻

Came for the thumbnail, stayed and was awestruck by the artistry and craftsmanship.

I watch and rewatch your videos to get the idea of blacksmithing. Then I remember you saying that you can watch all the videos you want, but hands on is how you learn. Thank you for your inspiration and willingness to answer questions.

I don't know how the algorithm got me to one of your shorts, but I'm so happy to find this channel. The importance of keeping the craftsmanship of working metal with your hands cannot be overstated! Watching you form the iron to your will was surprisingly calming and peaceful, and the magnificent beauty of the finished axe is amazing! Thank you, and keep forging forward!

I learned something today. I'm used to seeing blacksmithing done a certain way and today I saw a different way, a more hands on way. You put everything into this forge and I for one appreciate you for it.

I've been following this channel for years now and I'm still consistently impressed by the use of steel straps to set your stack-welds, instead of the easy lazy route of tack-welds.

Nothing more appropriate than one Shieldmaiden forging an axe for another Shieldmaiden! Fantastic piece of skill and art!

You are a fantastic artist and creator. Love your work. I'm 74 and still love working with my hands. I love a lady that does excellent work, you and your work are both amazing! Thank you!

In todays day and age, we forget what real craftswomen looked like from the past. Simply amazing work. Your ability to craft and make these pieces is a lost art that’s something of special thing to watch. Bravo.

Today at 44 I learned that an anvil isnt just for falling on cartoon characters heads. Not sure why the algorithm gave me this. But thanks to you for sharing your craft..

What a magnificent axe. I know it's said that artists put of themselves into their work, and here is a perfect example
Every hammer blow and every drop of sweat. You put your soul into the fabrication, and it shows

Stunning.

It 4:25 AM and I don't know how I stumbled across this but it's riveting. So much knowledge, skill, craftsmanship, and soooo much physical labor. Beautiful camera work too.

Nice to spend 26 minutes watching what I do almost every time I start in Skyrim. And not just for the 'free' iron and steel ingots. The poetry is a lovely touch too.
