I have been trying to convert videos from my dvd player that are in VOB format into mp4 format. After selecting the dvd import, I made sure the output was to mp4 with no changes otherwise. I chose to copy only the main movie first, and then I tried again copying each file on the disc, but results were always the same. The copying was going ok for the first several minutes, then slowed to a crawl. It ended up taking about 10 hours to copy from the dvd to the computer, and I tried three different times. I tried copying with the high speed option both on and off, but there was no difference in copy time or quality. What was also consistent was in each case the copied videos would play in sync for about 13 minutes, and then the sound started playing about 5 seconds ahead of the video. About midway, the sound was no longer playing at all. I thought that perhaps the dvd was faulty, but I had the exact same experience trying to copy another dvd that was in the same format.

This tutorial is pathetically incomplete. The VR converter does not work very well. Never has. Years ago the audio track was always off sync and unwatchable to me. I'm trying again and the product's much WORSE. I just processed a purchased Apple mv4. It ran two progress bars doing god knows what and after 40 minutes +/- the Vid Converter proclaimed "Success".
The file was only 151mb when it should have been 1.5gb or more. I knew it was trash. Sure enough the "movie" was over two hours long but the screen was black and there was no audio. I've converted this same file before on the version from a few years ago. It all worked except for the audio sync. Now it doesn't work at all.

BUG ALERT! An unexpected behavior of Uniconverter deleted at least 100 of my downloaded files, leaving me extremely angry and frustrated. Although I've been using the program for a long time, this is the first time I used the trash icon next to the search field to delete tasks/files in download history. (I have always used the DELETE key.) With ONLY A SINGLE TASK selected, I clicked on the icon, which displayed the message, "Are you sure you want to delete the task from download queue?" After checking the box, "Delete original file(s) as well", clicking DELETE deleted all tasks & files in the queue. And because it bypasses the Recycle Bin, they are gone forever!!

I reproduced the problem, twice, to verify my actions before writing this comment. This is a serious bug!
