They left OW1 to die for a PvE mode they promised would be the main talking point for Ow2, then it disappears for a year or two and the next thing we hear, it’s been scrapped for a smaller, more pathetic version.

This is absolutely outrageous. Sickening. 2.5 years of no content and dead communication for a reskin, a lowering of the skill ceiling and floor, an atrocious game mode, a completely jacked up rank distribution and match making that isn’t even based on probability of winning, a shop that’s straight up a scam, and more bugs than playable characters. All their thousands of excuses go to “but PVE” and they have absolutely nothing and aren’t even trying. Going strong with the false advertisement.

For all you can do with PVE… Campaign, constantly added story missions. Zombies/Survival, Castle defend, all with an endless hordes option. Dungeon/raids with endless floors. Like an endless tower to climb floor by floor, set world records for highest climbs or deepest descends into an endless dungeon. HUBs and clan rooms to customize and meet players in. Whatever, the possibilities are endless.

But what will they do? Maybe a mission every once in a while like blackwatch. But now we have waited 2.5 years for it so it has a reskin, some cliche objectives and some new enemies which an indie company could have done in about 15 days. Can’t build a community on it or an active player base, doesn’t draw in any more players.

Nope just 2.5 years of nothing and a promised future full of nothing. Which they are proud of btw. They actually think their road map is something to be proud of… they are straight up delusional.

Ban microtransactions in North America! Business practices have shifted after realizing the endless potential of taking advantage of people who have no control over their wallets. Look at games from late 90s to mid 2000s and look at them now.

There was a time when a game was released we received the entire game on one or multiple disc. No, DLC, no unfinished bugs, no patriotic propaganda, just enjoyable video games.

Back then companies made their profit and revenue from making a game that was so good you had to grab it. That's when competition and innovation kept everyone on their toes in that workforce. Now? They've become lazy and complacent, comfortable in making minor updates here and there. Stretch a games life to five, six or even seven years long before coming out with a legitimate sequel. This is all because of the curse of Microtransactions.

It was so obvious! I've been talking about that since they announced that thing... Why they stalled so long..I still don't even understand why they had such idea in first place. It was a craziness. If we gonna get the PVE on level of the "events" its gonna kill the game all the way.
