Baby Cougar

After six days, Cougar was so ready to get out of the tree. He was in a pasture tree on the adjacent property
The tree was covered in sticky resin and my climbing gear started to bind up when I neared the top. Cougar's paws were also covered with resin.

Although he didn't need any convincing, I remembered his owner said he responded to light hand clapping while calling him, so I gave it a try. This worked so good, he almost jumped right on my face.

This tree wasn't fun to climb, but it was well worth it to get this kitty back to his family.
