I Know Where I've Been - Sweet Ophelia A Cappella

Black Lives Matter is not a moment, it's a movement. Sweet Ophelia decided to virtually perform our arrangement of "I Know Where I've Been," which is originally sung by Queen Latifah in the musical Hairspray, to raise money and awareness for Franklin & Marshall BSU's Unapologetic Blacktivism fund. Though we are only an a cappella group at a small college, Sweet O believes in the power in all of us to use our voices to make a change in our community. Additionally, we listened to the popular call to amplify melanated voices, and we have done so within our group by highlighting Lauryn, Akalah, and Diana's immense talents. We hope this video can be a source of hope, a call to action, and a prayer for justice.
