This was going to be a video about what I’m looking forward to doing in Japan, but then I thought it’d be more interesting to find out what YOU’RE excited about too. So here are the results of my travel survey, including where you most want to go (cities / regions), specific places, attractions and destinations, your favourite Japanese foods and recommendations for restaurant and cafes in Tokyo and beyond. 1000% Agree with Okonomiyaki not being in most western Japanese restaurants, although I'm starting to see it pop up a little more in Australia, its nothing like japan 😋😋

If you're near London I would seriously recommend Okan. The do authentic okonomiyaki and grill it in front of you. They also do omu yakisoba.

I like the autumn best, you get nice weather but can still experience halloween and the Xmas illuminations if you go late October / November.

I miss Japan already!! You gave me great advice when I went at the end of May, staying in Akihabara. We were in Tokyo when the earthquake struck! It was actually pretty exciting!

As someone from a country with poor public transport system, I always look forward to the super efficient train systems in Japan.

U r so right abt okonomiyaki...this is why iv never had it...cant find it any...never been or be able to go to Japan.

This was so fun! I propose more surveys 😁. I'm afraid my answers were probably boring since I have yet to go to Japan lol, but I would ideally love a mixture of city and more rural for a first visit.

It doesn’t surprise me that cherry blossom season is the busiest time of year for Japan! It always looks so beautiful, but I’m a spooky time of year girl and would love to try their sweet treats for autumn time ❤️
