Cuddles are nice. However, I love my space when it comes to sleeping, unless I have no choice. Since I toss and turn before falling asleep, whoever's sleeping next to me would have to be patient with me. Also, I sleep with a fan blowing at my face.
Otherwise, falling asleep with my head on someone's lap could be successful, if I'm exhausted enough.
