You only have so many birthdays when your kids are little. By the time they are like 10 or 11 they just want to do fun stuff with their friends. Go all out because you and your kids will always cherish the memories and pictures/ videos of that special day! Great job!

First, I think you look great. Second, don’t apologize for what you do for your sons or anyone’s birthday or occasion. You enjoy it, it shows it’s out of love and not to be over the top to just impress or create content.. there are things we do and they become traditions. Your children will grow to love what you did. I always try to reduce plastic waste as much as possible (actual dinnerware and cutlery, goodies that are practical and no junk or candy packed in paper as smarties, decorations from nature or made of paper). I’m from Germany - it’s highly unusual to buy new table cloths every time here. We use fabric ones that can be washed and reused

I think throwing parties for our loved ones are the best. I was still doing a theme party for my grown adults. This is the first year i didnt do it. Just was too tired. Hoping my kids start up with their kids so i can attend theirs.

I love throwing parties too! But over the years I realized that I love prepping for parties but not so much the social piece of it. I worked for a catering co and it was a perfect match!!! We did mostly weddings and big parties. I made lots of balloon arches. So much fun!
