How I Draw Heads! ✨Easy Way - (Sketching Faces + Any Angle)

Hey!

This video is going to show and explain my personal way of drawing stylized heads and faces in a simple anime style.
I will cover structure, basic anatomy, easy stylization and different angles.

In my opinion the best way of learning is to find your own methods.
I hope this video can give you an idea of how to find your own way of simplifying complex shapes. Basically a guide to make your own guide.

As someone new, i really needed this. Too many guides are focused on exact proportions and that had me struggling a lot as I would waste too much time trying to be exact in my replications. As it turns out, being close enough is indeed good enough as everything can be adjusted after the sketch.

Definitely a video I needed! I'm so inconsistent with different head angles. I was trying to draw a side profile recently and just couldn't do it (which disappointed me because I had drawn a decent side profile just the week before). I've always wanted to upgrade my illustrations since I think different face angles can be a lot more interesting than the same old frontal view all the time. Great tutorial! I've started to study skull recently and it really pays off. Most tutorials teach "magic lines" that you have to remember by heart and they don't really teach you how to alter the proportions. But after you get more accustomed to seeing the underlying face structure, every head drawing registers as "skull" + "altered proportions" + "different levels of simplification".
