As I prayed last night, I asked God if he loved me because I have sinned so much. I asked God to give a sign that he loves me. Today I got my answer and my sign. I got it in John 3:16. Thank You God for hearing my prayer and answering it. Jesus I love and I accept. As I write this comment I am 73 years old; I gave my life to Jesus more than 62 years ago, and never had an explanation of God’s love until today. Thank you God for your love and thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ.

I was about nine or ten years old when someone gave me a bible. It was blue with gold edges to the pages, and I treasured that bible. I only had it for a couple of days, and I remember two things that I read. One of them said: "Thou shalt not commit adultery." I asked my mother what adultery means, and she said she would tell me when I get older. The other thing I read was John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on him, shall not perish but receive eternal life." For some reason that verse stuck with me these past almost seventy years. The reason I only had the bible for a couple of days was because my father was a Roman Catholic, and we were forbidden to own or read a bible. The bible disappeared and nobody knew where it had gone, but today I know my father threw it away in obedience to the Catholic church. And where did it come from? Well, there was a man who came to collect insurances; he was a member of the Salvation Army, and members had to be believers in Jesus Christ. So putting it all together, I realized, long after he died, that he was concerned for our Catholic family. My mother wasn't Catholic, though. So John 3:16 had an effect on me even though I didn't really understand it. I used to be an altar server in the Catholic church but by time I was fifteen I had rebelled against the Catholic church. Then in December of 1980 I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

To know the love of God is such a heart/life changer. We can truly love others, not on our own, but by the love He gives us. Sharing our faith in love can change other's lives.

God loves us so much no matter how bad or how wrong you were all we have to do is ask for forgiveness and believe in Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins I truly believe this in my heart he is wiped out all my sins now that's how much God loves you he can take all the bad that you've done and take it and erase it you got to love the Lord

I see a tombstone from a pastor when I take flowers to the cemetery this is what it says look my friend when you pass by as you are now so once was I as I am now you soon shall be so prepare my friend to follow me. This pastor still speaks of Jesus and the love of God to all that pass his tombstone the story of the pastor on the titanic reminded me of this pastors message.
