Anime Adventures resolved their DMCA strike 2 days after it was issued but Stray and Script were afraid of future copyright issues with the game so they decided to not release the game.

All this came from BlazeImperium in the Anime Adventures Discord in the Exclusive Trading Chat, which has been deleted since then.

I’m so happy I didn’t spend much money except VIP on the game, I’m still sad it got taken down tho because I’ve been playing since Ariva was the best character and mythic pity was just being discovered

These new Games may in theory be better than AA however no game could fill the void that AA holds in my heart, I pray that they bring it back

I was not rlly mad at first when aa got dmca strike but when time goes on me seeing all the other anime tower defence game come nothing close to aa so it’s just like a empty void that would nvr be filled. Aa won’t be forgotten😢

I wish they would at least offer some kind of compensation if the game ever comes back even though it was out of their control for this to happen to them in the first place but still I expect the compensation to not be just gems but some free limited units like you get to pick one unit from a table of limited units from past updates or something like that but ofc only for the players that played anime adventures before it was shutdown

If the game comes back I would be so happy even if all my progress was wiped away! Just to see the game again! I wouldn’t care if I had to start over I loved the game to death! I’m nervous to blow money on anime defenders tho. Just because of how Anime Adventures ended up like, but I still have faith that Anime Adventures will return. One day.
