How to download Facebook live stream videos into MP4 files.

Do you need to know how to download your Facebook Live Stream videos into an MP4 file? In this very quick tutorial, Julia shows you the process.

Stage one - find your live stream video in your timeline on your page/profile.

Stage two - play the video.

Stage three - right click and copy the URL of the video.

Stage four - paste the URL into another tab

Stage five - change the www. to an m. (making the video a mobile version).

Stage six - play the video and right click.

Stage seven - save video as onto your desktop

And you are good to go!

I can't thank you enough. Was so depressed as FB removed the FB live video of Adele 'Hello', in concert I took yesterday and could not even save it. I got FB to restore the video back and within seconds followed your instructions to save it to mp4, before FB removes the video again :)

Very helpful, thanks. One point of clarification I had to figure out by trial and error. At the point where you open the mobile version you say that if we click play we can't download it. You then click play, then pause or stop and then with a right click you get the appropriate dropdown menu. I was having no success because I did not at first click play. Then I duplicated what you had done - i.e. click play then pause - and got the appropriate dropdown.
