League of Legends RUINED By Vanguard? ...Or Saved?

Vanguard anti-cheat was added to League of Legends, but there are reports of it breaking PCs. Meanwhile Riot says that cheaters are giving it a bad rap so it gets removed. What is the truth behind Vanguard in LoL?

the problem with these are .. they all streamers and being sponsored by Riot so SHUT UP ! and a lot of us playing TFT or ARAM and we are not effected by cheaters ! so why would i let invasive malware with a kernel access level into my pc ? and what if in few months Riot realize it didn't worked the way they thought it would ? what ? they will dig deeper into my pc ? where is that limit ? im Not against Vanguard, let it run while i play the game, but after im done, i want it to shut down automatically like all the rest of the words games are doing.

I wouldnt mind Vanguard if it didnt take 5-9% of my memory disk usage, and everytime i close it, i have to restart my pc to be able to turn it back on and gain access to league again?

Regardless of the sarcasm in the video, I finally have a reason to quit league for good, as a senior cybersecurity analyst, I will never install a rootkit on my PC for a game, that would be disrespectful to the knowledge and experience I have in the field.

I play dota2 and LOL and just an aram player, now because of vanguard i play dota again, the fking tiring bios seeting

earlier today, had a couple games of league arena gamemode. In that time between me and my duo, we encountered many bugs DUO TO VANGUARD NOT WORKING. Its not good

Vanguard got some error and it kicked me from the game, I had to reinstall league, riot client and vanguard 3 times. Finally I was able to get it running again just to see I got a penalty for leaving the game xdddd

It wouldn't let me go into my league game and now I have a 30 minute long ban. I don't have any cheats and if u look at my account my it's obvious to see I'm bad. But it does brick my pc because I see it on my task manager.

In League there are data breaches and the hackers were thriving in this game so this is the main reason I don't wanna run this company's kernel level software, there are too much vulnerability, btw its funny to see how ppl make videos about why they don't want to install Vanguard but the ppl who protects it has only 1 argument that everyone is stupid who don't install it, but its your choice if you do it just don't call me stupid just because I don't do what you want I'm not your slave...
