Woodturning – This is NOT your average coffee cup

Woodturning this incredible coffee cup by using Australian mallee burl and epoxy resin. For the deep pour resin, I used some copper mica powder to enhance the colours but also to allow the colours the blend well with the natural colours of the wood. I turned and hollowed to size on my lathe then eventually long sanding process to come. At the end it was polished and buffed to achieve high gloss mirror finish.
