Would have liked to see Hugo Weaving make a return for no other reason than to see him and Keanu in a business meeting! That visual would have been hilarious! That said, Jonathan Groff was absolutely brilliant in this performance. He brings his own brand of ferocity to the character. Also nice to see Smith has mellowed out a bit over the years.

"The Matrix" isn't the only inactive franchise that the studios would like to reboot.

gotta be one of my favorite scenes in Matrix 4. heck anytime they'd break the 4th wall its my fave 😂.
i gotta say that i couldnt even recognize Jonathan Groff in this role, the black hair and different vibe threw me off. also it didnt help that i was familiar with his role in that HBO Looking series, where he was a video game developer too, but yeah that was nice Groff, typical light haired, happy, good vibes Groff. this is his twisted dark side thats unnerving, heck even darker than Mindhunter.
