It's disgusting. We have that in seattle too. I never in my 69 years ever saw such a scale of degeneracy.

Thank you for sharing what Portland has become. It’s no exaggeration.

This is what no standards and no self control looks like, liberalism 101.

The politicians who mandate all of this would never tolerate it in their own neighbourhoods. They have deep contempt for ordinary people.

Lack of responsibility & accountability is more addicting than any substance.

the sad thing is...there is no getting any of this back under control without extreme forceful measures.

But senior citizens are unable to get their pain medication refilled because of opioid crisis…make it make sense 🤬🤯

Prop 47 in California allowed this in the state. It eliminated the incentive for addicts to get help mandated by drug courts. They just allow the person back on the street.

I’m a 5th generation native Oregonian. Republican policies made Oregon a desirable place to live. Democrats came from other places and turned it into a sewer. I’m heartbroken what Democrat rule has done to my state.

And it comes across our wide open border. Here in Arizona is has gotten really bad. It's dirt cheap, highly addictive and people are dying every day by the dozens. Every day.

200 people he personally knew. Not just worsened their health or became addicts. Just DEAD.
Many people don't have that many connections. It's like everyone he knew except himself died of it... can't imagine how he must feel.

Portland was a jewel of a city. My wife and I lived in the downtown area when we were first married. It was safe, clean, and fun. There were "bums" that hung around Burnside St. in the downtown area, but this was limited and controlled. Now Portland is a hellscape.

I was a drug addict and I lived in Portland, Oregon. When they decriminalized drugs waves of homeless drug addicts poured into the city. I got clean after two decades of use and I moved away. Yes I was an addict but I maintained my dignity. These addicts are disgusting and I refuse to be associated with them.
