Maiden Flight of Another R/C Balsa Aircraft

Hey folks! This video shows the first flights of a scratchbuilt balsa-wood aircraft, the synoptical build video for which I uploaded a week before this. I do have to work on my overwhelming propensity for left turns. But that aside, I can’t complain about this lovely maiden flight.

I fully agree with your left hand turning. I personally reserve turning right for unintended maneuvers and absolute emergencies. 😂

I think you could make a 2x4 fly. What were some specifics? Wingspan, area, AUW, etc.

Definitely very floaty! I noticed there was a little weird scratchy noise from the motor. Is it just a normal thing?

3:38, no one UNDERSTANDS flaps. you made these flaps with excessive chord length.!
one of the issues with flaps is this:
there should not be too much lift occurring, near the center line.
and, that is Exactly what flaps do.!!!!

3:49, PROPORTIONS are LESS-than ideal.!
(specifically, prop should be about one chord length from the le; and the distance between the wing and stabs is excessive; span of horiz-stab should be equal to thirty percent of wingspan.)
