How to Use HondaLink Remote Start

After registering and enrolling in HondaLink®, one of the first things to try is the Remote Start feature that’s part of the Remote subscription package. It allows you to start your car from anywhere you are at a time of your choosing. It also activates the climate control and preconditions the cabin. Perfect for cold or hot weather. If I'm out of town and have my keyfob with me, and would like to let someone operate my car, is it possible to use HondaLink to unlock and start my car from my remote location (even in another state), and then to lock it remotely when they're done with it? This isn't really something I'm anticipating needing to do. I'm just trying to see if there are any real advantages or capabilities gained by signing up for their $10/month HondaLink program.

I leased a 2022 Hyundai Elantra and the remote start was FREE with the app. I traded it in for a 2024 Honda Civic Sport and can't remote start from the app AND it doesn't have the Blindspot Sensor AND I'm paying $130 more per month.
