I really enjoy your "The Archives" series and hope you will keep the individual programs coming. It was nice to see some of the countryside too. Thanks for sharing.

When I took Mr. King's scraping class last year my project was the ram of a 7" South Bend shaper. When it was finished it tested to two tenths flat and parallel over the entire length of every surface. I'm still quite proud of that, it's one of my favorite personal achievements. Always a pleasure to see scraping, and I'm greatly looking forward to your series on the subject.

Awesome collection of small projects, your mastery of metal is something I aspire to.
The arbour wedges are a great idea, and something I may do as my first milling project once my skills catch up to my asperations.
Baby steps first though, I have to get a Dore Westbury mill I rescued up and running first.
The mill still has some unfinished areas that need doing as DW mills were sold in kit form and finished at home using a small lathe, the provided castings and a set of build plans.
While this one happily turned out to be generally well built, it was mistreated a little by the previous owner so it's in need of some TLC.
Keep up the great work, I have learned so much from you, so a huge thanks for sharing :)

Love the shaper section, my big Cincinnati 24" shaper has crazy deep flaking on the exposed slidways of the ram, I never liked the way they did it, other than looking good it will pull in dirt and I agree it is a bad practice. Thanks for the great video Stefan, keep up the good work. Steve Summers
