The fact that this is still being built in Tahara is amazing. I’m very impressed with the new 4Runner overall and I’m looking forward to seeing it in person! Thank you for showing us the walkaround!

4th gen 4runner had a baby with the 2024 Tacoma

TRD JON is a true Toyota fan with real skin in the Toyota game. Unlike some of these other YouTubers who are already complaining that it doesn't have a pano roof and massaging seats. I liked seeing his initial reaction and quickly sizing the 4Runner up for his needs as a potential owner. Great first impression.

That volume nob lol Toyota was like, "yo dawg, heard you like our convenient volume knobs, check out the most convenient volume knob ever" 😂

Finally a 4runner with features available ten years ago and a non functioning hood scoop with a prop rod. All for 60k+ markup?!? We are all so lucky.

Toyota really knocked it out of the park with this one. Looks even better than the new Tacoma. And no more Hoover! Yay! 😃😉

this is the first impression video i've been looking for. from an actual owner and a fan. you can't duplicate his genuine excitement as a true fan. I loved this video.

Seeing Jon geek out on stuff like the rear window switch is why he is a Toyota Fanboy like myself and thus an awesome reviewer and of all the ones I have watched thus far on the 6th gen 4Runner, the most genuine. It was nice how you could draw parallels to past 4Runners you owned and I liked how you did the 1st impression review for the 2nd half of the vehicle. Good job Toyota of bringing Jon out for his review...two thumbs up :). P.S., I do like what I see but not sure on the grille yet as it has a stacked looked to me so I need to see these in person to make up my mind.

The single one thing I was worried about was it not being built in Japan. Thanks Toyota for keeping it 100! I am so much more excited for this 4Runner than I am/was for the Tacoma. My local dealers still haven’t been shipped some of the modes of new Tacoma yet so I haven’t been able to check them out but this is much much more exciting.

Jon, you crushed it, great review in 9 minutes. The 6th Gen seems way better than I was thinking it would be. The major important thing in my mind that remains to be confirmed is long term reliability, especially engine and trans (but, hey, it's Toyota). Good items to me are: Made in Japan, rear window roll down with high mounted wiper, auto lift gate, huge 14" screen, 4H/4L, locking rear diff, body on frame, modernized interior, digital gauge cluster, and AUX buttons. Next, I'd like to see inside the engine bay and see SPECS, esp. MPGs and curb weights (regular vs. iForceMax). Thanks.

Thats the best looking 4Runner i've ever seen, great stance, proper tires, awesome color, and Factory done, just bought a 24 Tundra limited, I freaking love it.

Front grill looks like a Tacoma with the Tundra handlebar mustache

One of the better videos, thank you for taking so much time to show the 2nd row folding. Nice to see in detail what is going on with the 2nd row not folding as flat and the smaller cargo area.

Non-functional hood scoops are so cool. They make so much sense, too.
