This video highlights an important yet often missed point about Popper's most important book The Logic of Scientific Discovery, that is, there is no logic of discovery in the sense of there being a "logical method for having new ideas", there is no secret recipe for creativity and discovery. Rather Popper alludes to something else, an intuition, a feeling, and intellectual love for the object one is searching for yet does not-yet know. This is in my estimation a profound idea; a love of the not-yet comprehended that drives creativity and the process of discovery. In other words; logos rather than logic.
