Plot twist: Donut is actually John from the future and he came back to save himself from a certain robot uprising which was definitely not the plot of a popular film franchise, but the robots all died from the Robovirus outbreak of 2048 (also known as Rovid-48) so instead he's just raising his future self so he doesn't have to know about the alternate timeline with the robots that is definitely not be basis of said multimillion dollar franchise.
