How to Hide Your Activity Status on Linkedin from Public View

Linkedin has now become one of the popular tools for human resources to scout for workers and talents. The Scouters and recruiters can see whatever information that you put as your public profile. As a default setting, Linkedin also allows the public to see your activity status on Linkedin as well. This means every "Like" or "Comments" you have done will be shown in your "Activity" section for everyone to see that includes recruiters or potential employers. There are some advantages and disadvantages to revealing your activity status on Linkedin for the public view. However, if you do not want your activity status to be seen, here are the steps on how to remove or hide it from the public view.

Now it's Me > Settings & Privacy > Visibility > Edit your public Profile > Change

this will lead you to a new page.

On the right hand side of the screen, scroll down until you see something like 1:00
Articles & Activity > switch "Show" to "Hide"

totally fake, this version doesn't exist. you can't hide any activity on linkedin anymore.

Out of date. Linkedin have since changed their interface and options, it is no longer possible to hide comments or activity.
