Today I'm going to show you how to power your home with a small generator. The generator that I have is the Honda EU2200i. I have a transfer panel inside my house and I'm able to plug an extension cord from the generator directly into this transfer panel to power 4 circuits in my home. With this setup I'm able to keep my refrigerator and freezer going during a power outage with no problem at all.

OUTSTANDING.
This is one of the most useful, informative videos I have ever seen. I have been wondering how to do this very thing, and now I know. I'm going to purchase a larger generator because I want to be able to run the A/C in case of an emergency, as Vegas summertimes are unbearable without it.

Very helpful video. Researching solar generation vs gas. The Honda is a basic simple operation and I see now how easy it is to power home if needed, although I may not be using for the house at least at this point. Thanks for the clear instructions!

I wonder if I can get a transfer panel in my condo here in Florida? So many hurricanes here this would be perfect for basic needs.
