Yo, big Vic! Just have to chime in and say thanks for these video breakdowns. Your content and guidance gave me the confidence to buy a 2019 international and jump in the game! I started slow and had to knock out a few pricey truck def system repairs ( needed new erg cooler, and all that comes along with that -4k 😵) ..
But I'm up n running, driving under another companys dot and mc#, doing a 6 day a week (over $3k after expenses), 561 mile, contract route for amazon relay out here in Albuquerque. The reason why I'm commenting, is becuse i was so hesitant to pull the trigger, and i was just watching from the sidelines for a long time. These breakdown videos help me see the abundant possibilities in this industry. Nothing has went acording to plan since the jump and even though i got off to a very rocky, slow start, things are smoothing out, money is rolling in, debt is getting paid off, and the family is eating good. So much love to you Vic and everyone out there grinding. I hope and pray we all get to and from our destinations safely on the daily! 🙏

I agree that It is a love hate relationship with Amazon Relay but overall im glad to have them in my area as it is half my income and most of the days are excellent. It’s convenient that a lot of the runs are early in the morning because it gives us a chance to do other work during the day with our trucks.

Man Amazon has been annoying the hell out of me. Not enough pay for all the crap you have to manage with them.

I see videos of people saying they got their authority on Friday and got accepted to Amazon Relay the following Friday. If you gotta wait 180 days, then a new start up can’t sign on to relay. I can’t afford to have insurance and equipment sit for 180 days without revenue

Is this a good option that best fits owner operators, or can i take advantage of Amazon Relay with my fleet and driver roster?

How would this work if you wanted to do it with a fleet of drivers? You would have to fight to get them routes on the load board ? Or can you tell Amazon just as if you were a dsp owner and say I got 5 drivers can I get dedicated routes ?

What’s up and thanks for the info. I have a question about the pickup and delivery time. I see a run for 50 miles but it would give you 5 hours to deliver it . Can I deliver it in 1 hour or I must wait for that appointment time in 5 hours thanks

If I get my Authority on a Monday and truck on a Tuesday, can I hit up Amazon Relay on Wednesday or do I have to wait or get experience with my authority?

Can I run multiple Amazon loads in the same day? Example if I pick up a load at 6am and complete it at 12pm, can I get back on their load board to get another Amazon load?
