1. For straight conversion, I would expect maybe 10-15% less than print.
2. Depends on frequency. I would expect 40-60% reduction on monthly price (in line with print). Don't know why international pubs still cost way more.
3. I would pay a premium for active content, tags, ability to search my library for past issues that contain certain terms. I would also like to see social features on content. I would pay 10% more than print price for that.
Great review, exactly what I needed. Thanks!

@VinnyTheCuz You can delete from the iPad and download again at another date, or on another device. Really easy, your Zinio account remembers your purchases.

1. I would expect around 15-25% savings from the printed price.
2. I would pay $9.99 - $14.99 depending on the magazine.
3. I would pay an additional $2-3 for added features.

This app looks like one great reason to own the iPad.
In response to the questions:

1. I think anything from 30% upwards savings wise would be what I would expect. I would not want to pay cover price.

2. I would subscribe to The Hockey News, which appears to cost £25ish here. At 30 issues, thats less than £1 an issue, so the savings would be big here.

3. I would be willing to foot an extra $2 per publication to get extra features such as video etc.

@VinnyTheCuz It varies, smallest is 13MB, largest is 64MB on mine.

@nickbu1 Yes that is correct. If I click the icon it won't allow the update. Until UK release u have to do updates through iTunes.

@tannyboy Varies a lot, 32MB-64MB seems to be about right.

any video/article on how to create your own magazine and sell it online? :)

1. I think the price point can be reduced by £1 to £2 and possibly a standardized price across the board say £1.99.

2.£14.99 to £19.99 for a subscription (but already seeing some of my favorite magazines with a £5 annual subscription as for the iPad, iPhone versions both using Zinio, and physical versions all sent) So that price could be a lot less and more appealing.

3.I suppose the price of the magazine normally for optimized and additional content, or £1.50 extra in terms of figures.

@Cajuncritic You should get one in a few days time. If you don't post again and I will chase Zinio for you.

@superste53 I really don't think you could replace a laptop with this, unless all you do is email & internet. Internet is free on your own WiFi. Outside the house 3G costs different depending on your country and data plan.

1. I would expect to pay 50% - 75% of the printed price
2. I would expect to save around 30% - 50%.
3. I think I would be willing to pay £1 extra per publication to get these extra features

I would expect to pay $4-5 for a single issue of a popular magazine, but would also like to see some deals ($.99) for smaller magazine types. For a subscription Around $8-13 for a year. I think they should have extra content like video, links etc. without extra charge. I think it's pretty much expected.
