I used to see the Hatman as a child when I would stay the night at my grandmas. I remember him in a fond way. Like he was looking after me, never moved from laying against the wall and would watch me. Thats from what I can recall. However, the reason I share this is because now as an adult I’ve been seeing what I believe to be sleep paralysis, but having a hard time identifying what it is. My sleep paralysis often begins with a belief that my home has been broken into and the intruder is sitting on me in order to harm me in some way. I have also experienced a mass of darkness charging at me from the side of the wardrobe at the foot of my bed, enveloping me in its shadows and shaking me violently, before retreating, back where it came from, but often returning a number of times to do it again.
