Obviously this advice is more geared towards knowledge workers/corporate jobs — but lean into it no matter your industry. Get ahead of it.

Ya, it's definitely HR's new favorite buzz word. I work in IT and the number of times I've been asked to "integrate AI" into something for no reason is just sad.

For artists watching this be careful putting anything AI on your resume there are a lot of studios that are against AI so this will affect you negatively. Do your research about the studio to see if they use any AI applications before you put AI on your resume. If anything having one resume listing AI applications specific to your industry and one without might be better.

I hate that it has come to the point where AI seems to be a required skill, when it is unethical garbage in so many ways like copyright, environment etc. I wish that stuff had never started to go off so much.

As a data analytics student, I’m afraid she’s right. We are in the 4th Industrial Revolution and AI will not be dying out anytime soon. Companies love any tool that will save money and make money.

Not disagreeing with your advice but it’s honestly gross that this is what is needed to get seen.
Right now, AI is like what crypto was - all shiny and sparkly, with no consistent, real substance behind it.

I’m seriously disappointed that nobody seems to care about how unethical AI generated content is. It is an interesting tool, but the way it’s being used is infringing copyright law and it needs to be regulated. I hate that industries are obsessed with it without thinking of the implications of using it as it is right now (and also without considering possible future legal consequences).

Hi! Your videos gave me the courage to say 'screw it I hate this job' and start up on my own and like 5 months later, I'm making more than double what I did there with less than half the hours! I currently work in IT, I know how in some ways AI is useless and dangerous, but it's literally just hyped cause companies think it can help them grow profit. And if everyone believes in that lie unfortunately this works in capitalism.
And yes this will absolutely be true. And using AI is redicolously simple in most cases...

As someone whose main interests/skills are writing and art, this goes against my morals.

Obviously ai is a helpful tool in many curriers and people looking to have those curriers are who this video is targeted towards, but there are plenty of jobs that don’t need ai and shouldn’t have it

CPA here. I have to do 40 hours a year of continuing education for my cert. Every freakin class is about AI. I still dont know what it is since everything down to my Britta water filter light is called AI.
