My family is known that show dogs and search and rescue dogs in other working dogs are taught to potty on command, we've done it ourselves for decades, but I did not know it could be taught to a horse, that is really cool.

My horse can do that too 🤣🤪. It started, when one day I had to go p. I couldn't make it to the ranch office. I knelt down beside my horse in some bushes. As I was p-ing, he went p. I almost p'd my pants 🤣. Now when I say, " go pp". It takes him a bit...but he does it. 😁

This is standard practice in the thoroughbred racing industry. We used to train with a half-whistled "hwoosh-hwoosh", and follow up with a treat of course until they were reliable. Very important if you are taking young stallions to a race meet, so they didn't get too stressed by other horses peeing on the ground and feeling that they had to overmark the spot.

Is it true that horses can not throw up.. i think i saw once a tube in the nose and suck so that sucktion is created and then comes out through hose? I could be mistaken....
