I created this channel because I love getting straight into the meat of demo videos, and while I appreciate what the hosts have to say, sometimes I don't want to hear talking, I just want to hear the instrument, so I'm doing that and feel really passionate about it.

Quick, unsponsored demo of the Korg Volca Bass running a patch inspired by Take a Bow by Muse — paired with the RD-9 for drums and a Kemper Profiler for the guitar and bass layers. No talking, just raw analogue heat and digital tone shaping.

No original samples from the song were used, all sounds generated live on various instruments for this short cover. The Volca Bass is amazing for arpeggiated synths - don't let the name fool you that it's exclusive for bass synth.

Audio recorded directly from my phone microphone, so it's not that great, but hopefully it leaves an impression.

Would recommend this? Yes. 8/10. It's cheap, reliable, great synth engine, battery powered.
Cons: I wish it had a way to load custom samples and be the Volca to end all Volcas. I also really with it had full midi integration.
