The Future of Payments | Panels | Techfest

Rob Giles, Head, Retail Banking in Diamond Bank anchored this session on the future of payments at Techfest. The panel comprised major players in the payment markets who were in attendance. They talked about the use of Cards to make payments, the recent rise in the use of mobile methods/means to make payments. The USSD codes also is now accepted to carry out transactions and it also resides on the mobile phone. Techfest 2018 was all about technology and digitization and the future of payments brings to us the simple ways of making payments and making it work, no matter the means it is made from.
