I worked two jobs to put myself through college. Why should I have to pay somebody else's college loan? They need to pay for their own bills just like everybody else.

The money is gonna come out of the pockets of the taxpayers. Also, he never said definitively when and if he’s gonna do it. Right now it’s just hearsay and it’s only for $10K of it. Some folks have racked up even higher amount than that which is just a drop in the bucket among many other problems. Besides which, when did he have the authority in any way to “forgive” anyones student loan debt to begin with?

I paid off almost $60K in student loans by myself and make under $125K. I expected no one else to pay off or forgive my loans. This isn't fair at all.
