Athens Airport Bus: You can get bus X95 From Syntagma Square Which Is In The City Center To Athens Airport.
The bus runs every 15-20 minutes and cost €6 Euros which you can pay at machines at the airport and one close to the bus stop at Syntagma Square.
You can also use the Beat mobile app for taxis to and fro when you arrive at Athens airport.
Method of payment for the Taxi app is either by visa/Debit cards or Paypal which is safer in my opinion and the option i used since I arrived late at the airport and opted for that.
You can track your taxi when you order just as you do with uber.
Please note that Beat Taxi App was founded in 2011 in Greece.
