Italy opens immigration every year to meet its labour shortage in certain sectors. .

What is Decreto flussi ?

It’s a call/policy that establishes the quotas of foreign workers who can enter Italy to work.

TOTAL QUOTA(2023) - 1,51,000

SEASONALWORK VISA - 89,050

Seasonal work sector

* agricultural sector;
* tourism-hotel sector

NON-SEASONAL WORK AND SELF-EMPLOYMENT VISAS - 61,950

NON-seasonal work sectors

* road haulage of goods for third parties,
* building,
* tourist/hotel,
* mechanics,
* telecommunications,
* food,
* shipbuilding.
* electricians, 
* plumbers, 
* family care and support services.
* hairdressing, 

HOW TO APPLY?

1. FIND AN JOB/ EMPLOYER IN ITALY.
3. WORK PERMIT APPROVAL.
4. APPLY FOR VISA IN THE HOME COUNTRY AT VFS GLOBAL.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WHILE APPLYING FOR WORK PERMIT.( PREPARED BY EMPLOYER )

* valid passport of the foreign worker;
* valid identity card or passport of the employer in Italy.
* certificate of housing suitability and residence address in Italy of the worker;
* €16 revenue stamp;
* Employment contract
* current number of employees of the company.
* employer delegation and authorization (privacy);
* Chamber of Commerce certificate.
* DURC (single contribution regularity document)
* UNICO 2021 form (employer's tax return);
* financial statements for the year 2021 of the company/enterprise;
* employer contacts (telephone number, employer email, VAT number, pec address, etc.);
* indication of the Consulate of the country of origin where the entry visa will be requested.

DECRETO FLUSSI FORMS ARE TO BE FILLED BY THE EMPLOYER

* Forms A and B for the hiring of workers of Italian origin residing in Venezuela;
* Model B2020 is for the hiring of non-seasonal workers in the sectors of road haulage for third parties, construction and tourism-hotel;
* C models for hiring seasonal workers;
* Model VA for the conversion of residence permits for study, apprenticeship and/or professional training into a subordinate work permit;
* VB model for the conversion of residence permits for seasonal work into subordinate work;
* Model Z for the conversion of residence permits for study, apprenticeship and/or professional training into self-employment;
* LS model for converting EU residence permits for long-term residents issued by another EU Member State into a subordinate work permit (in case of conversion into subordinate domestic work, the model to be used is the LS1);
* Model LS2 for the conversion of EU residence permits for long-term residents issued by another EU Member State into self-employment;
* Model BPS nominative request for authorization reserved for the hiring of workers who have participated in training and education programs in the countries of origin (pursuant to art. 23 of the TUI).
