For the people saying deluxe barn has more space, optimal layout has 136 spaces while the big shed has 137, one more, PLUS, the footprint of deluxe barn is 7 x 4 while the big shed is 7 x 3. Plus, finally, the optimal layout in the deluxe barn is a pain to navigate while the big shed is dead easy. Bonus, you put wallpaper and flooring to decorate the shed, not the barn. The only major benefit to using the barn for storage is you can still have animals in it, but that also means they can get in the way when trying to harvest any crops or machines.

Finally someone who understands the power of water once forever growing plants from any season. Of course these work in any buildings or enclosed area for any plant for any season as long as its not a path that an NPC uses. You can have a plant empire without needing a single one in the ground.

Only thing is you don't really need to do it for perfection or maxed out farms at all. its a fun thing to do.

If you have the iridium scythe, you can use even more flower pots per shed.

Problem is if you grow starfruit or any crop that isn't a regenerative plant the retaining soil is destroyed when you harvest, and ancient fruit won't grow in them, so by the time you have the resources to make it work, it's not worth it

after watching this video i did this and it seriously ups your money making! i stick a jelly jar or keg outside of the shed to taoe whatever fruit is ready for harvest!
