The City of O’Fallon, IL and Timmons Group are pleased to present the successful implementation of the Timmons Group Portal for Cityworks PLL. The Project Team will discuss the implementation approach as well as an integration with an online point-of-sale application. Implementation of a public portal was just the first step; this presentation will go over the implementation, as well as detail lessons learned, best practices promoting a public portal, obtaining staff buy-in, and tailoring a user experience to the community. The Portal has been a timely addition for the City with the onset of COVID. The Project Team will cover how the Portal has been used during COVID and plans for expansion as demand for online permitting tools increases.
