Fixing unreliable vacuum pick-up -tool
With parts not worth much more than $1 I was able to improve the manual pick'n'place (/vacuum pick-up) -tool to become actually useful tool.

That project was featured in Hackaday's hacklet 53 - Quick tool hacks:

Nice. I just bought one of these tools today, and I've found that it's motorized...well it works with the large cup, but I'm having problems with the smaller one.
Anyway the mechanical version makes a lot more sense, I can see that it retains the part very well. Your mod is even better, good job!

This seems even more awkward for releasing components without disturbing your placement. That is the main flaw with the original. To fix that flaw, drill a hole and cover it with your finger so that you can release the vacuum without squeezing things.

what is the inner diameter of the tool tip which you put on the syringe? Or what is the outer diameter of the syringe tip?

Can anyone pls tell me what is it use for ? Does it mean we can suck pen ink and we dont have to use correction tape anymore ?
