77th Independence Day: PM Modi addresses Indian citizens as 'parivarjan'

In a departure from his usual style, PM Narendra Modi used the term ‘parivaarjan’, or family members, to address the countrymen. This is PM Modi's 10th consecutive Independence Day speech from Red Fort. Earlier, PM Modi used to refer Indian citizens as 'my beloved brothers and sisters'.
