Welcome back to our channel! In this module, we delve into understanding and simulating the performance of a differential amplifier pair through time domain analysis. Join us as we explore the output waveforms over time by applying different inputs to the transistor.

We begin by applying time domain signals to both inputs of the differential amplifier, which calculates the difference between the two inputs and plots the output accordingly. With a DC voltage source of 1 volt each at the transistor bases and a power supply of ±10 volts, we set the operating point for the circuit.

Using the practical model of the BC547 transistor, we ensure proper biasing, as explained in our previous modules. We utilize KiCad, a free open-source software, for schematic drawing and SPICE simulation, focusing on time domain analysis in this session.

Through a step-by-step demonstration, we explore the process of setting up the simulation, understanding the SPICE syntax, and interpreting the output signals. From plotting input signals to analyzing collector currents, we dissect the behavior of the differential amplifier.

Learn how to interpret the gain of the amplifier and understand the importance of applying signals in opposite phases for optimal performance. Engage with the video by liking, sharing, and subscribing to our channel. Feel free to share your insights in the comments section below.
