Having just 2 genshin accounts is insanity. How many things are you able to do in the game that still makes it fun to play after your first experience with it? Yall need some help.

What he says really only applies to those who play the game in chore/job mode + doing commissions every day rather than enjoyment. I mean... some of us actually like having alts. I have 8 for Genshin and I take breaks all the time. I don't keep up with everything on all the accounts, but there are events and quests I enjoy doing multiple times. I'm not concerned about primogems. I don't even do commissions on my main most of the time. I have enough savings to guarantee any character on multiple accounts so there's no need. I also don't keep up with the content or resin unless there's something specific I want nor do I care about fomo. I'm just an altaholic and find it fun. It's a way for me to say hey I feel like doing x that I've done already on my main and have it always be available since my alts have a variety of characters I don't use or want to use the resources on on my main. I'll go for the alt that has the characters I feel like using. It's a rotation type thing. I'll play on one for a couple of weeks or months, and maybe spend the next two on another account doing something else. Only 3 accounts that can reliably do the abyss if I wanted to though. The others will get there, but probably not for another couple of years with the way I play. Only 2 star rail accounts though and I actually upkeep them since it takes like 30 seconds a day... a main and a no wrap. HSR feels too linear. The experiences are too similar/not enough content for alts to be worth it. I find Mtashed entertaining, but sometimes it feels like since the games are a job for him, it's hard for him to see that some of us play just for fun.

I have a main account which is a dolphin, and a f2p which pulls for characters I don’t have on my main. Its fun to play around different teams and experiencing old content again

I started a second account two years ago. That account is still sneaking in the mondstadt church to this day. I really don't feel like playing through everything again.

I tried a second account as F2P to challenge myself. BOY what a pain in the ass it is doing dailies/events on two accounts.

i had 3 accounts in genshin im so happy that honkai star rail came out it made me finally able to quit all the accounts and just mindlessly farm primogems every single day, never felt better.

I have 2 accounts for Genshin because I'm not a whale and want every character - so between the two I am only missing a handful. But I think I've been balancing it well, for quite some time. I take my time for the most part and don't stress over the dailies. I've actually been playing it less since the hype of Sumeru died down a bit.
[edit: but still keep on top of - what I consider - the more important parts of it.]
I swipe when I have the money but am content with the way I've played this.

As someone who had 2 AR 60ish accounts for almost 2 years, quitting my alt account was one of the biggest blessings I ever received in my life. I didn’t realize how much it was ruining me until I finally stopped playing on it. I really recommend people to not do this, it’s just too boring, stressful, repetitive, and makes u burn out twice as fast.

I used to have 2 accounts back on launch because I could alternate getting limited characters that i didn't have on my main account on my alt account due to not having the resources on a single account to pull for a new character every 20 days.

I'd play both accounts until i'd have enough to guarantee pity and alternate between banners so I could play all of the characters. I eventually stopped doing this because the investment of time it takes to keep up with that, in addition to staying on top of all events, quests and zone exploration/puzzles takes way too much time, so much time in fact that you will literally not have time for any other games.

It's definitely not worth it and I've long abandoned my alt account and only use it for resource farming for characters releases on my main. The amount of time it takes is simply not worth it, especially with all the great games that have been coming out.

Almost AR 60 and for the last several months I've finally managed to kick the need to log in every day. That's after nearly 2 years of playing. I've probably logged in for like 6 days in the last two months. It's honestly the best feeling every when you realize you have an addiction and are managing to beat it.

I have main european and asian twink, where I login maybe once a week, sometimes once per month. I have some characters there which I don't have on my main like Kokomi, Ayato, Nilou, or didn't plan to get on my main but got anyway like Kazuha, Nahida, Raiden. Now it's really hard to play there because most content is blocked under Sumeru storyline, which is blocked by Chasm storyline. And I don't want to go through it again.
