Fiat 500X on Snow and Ice

The Fiat 500X uses an advanced all-wheel drive system that guarantees excellent traction in all weather conditions. Heart of the system is a lightweight and compact front Power Transfer Unit (PTU) that selectively engages all wheel drive when needed and a fully disconnecting Rear Differential Unit (RDU).

This test track are in northern Sweden and the includes, of course, many more demanding elements than to just "run around in a snow- circle". All manufacturers of rank (Volvo, BMW, Mercedes and others) running their cars up here.                  I have previously owned both Volvo and Saab, Citroen and Opel. But the last 14 years I have only owned FIAT, first Fiat Punto and then Fiat Bravo. It has been the most trouble-free car years in my life! Small problems, Yes, but no major problem during all the years I have owned and driven a Fiat! Next car = FIAT 500 x, which is both stable and significantly improved driving feel and Steering response than my previous FIAT-cars. OK, to be honest, so has the quality of all the cars on the market has become a lot better the last 10-15 years compared with the early 1990s. But, please do not hesitate in relation to FIAT, it's good quality today. At least as good quality as many other cars. The best of all, , you get more car, fun- and safe- driving car for your money compared to the most other brands.

TO FIAT USA:
This is the kind of footage that should flood the media to promote the 500x. Enough of cliche, stereotypical bullshit that destroyed the regular 500's initial launch. Quit being wankers and promote these great, fun little cars properly, as well as the awesome 500x (should compete for the next Dakar!).

I must point out something very important. the 500X in the video behaves so only because he has the stability and traction control switched off, under standard conditions the controls would not allow that kind of drift

Don't you think maybe you should test in real world snow conditions with unplowed, rutted roads and unplowed driveways?? That is the test us people from the snow belt want to see. Ground clearance dimensions and all or 4 wheel drive so I know my wife and or young adult children are in a vehicle that hopefully will not be stranded during a snow storm and we can say with a fair amount of confidence take the " 500X " today because it calls for snow all day and I do not want to WORRY so
