Easy CSIElement2D Creation in Grasshopper: Tips and Tricks for ETABS

In this video, I build on the previous tutorial where we defined a CSIElement1D, demonstrating how easy it is to define a CSIElement2D in Grasshopper.

I cover key tips, like ensuring the correct "string" is recognized by the ETABS database using Python scripts that read .xml files from the ETABS install directory.

I also explain how to correctly define surfaces by nodes to avoid issues with the DBrep component and clarify why surfaces might not display in the viewer, noting that this is due to the lack of a displayValue, which can be appended for proper visualisation.
